Have you been putting off big decisions and goals for “when the time is right”? Well, let me tell you, there is never a “right” time. You just have to jump in feet first and CHOOSE to make the change.

Putting off those big dreams becomes habit. And before you know it, you look back and see it’s too late. Or, you could have already achieved your dream and be working toward a BIGGER dream. If you don’t start today, that’s one more day it takes to get there. So, might as well start the journey so one day you can look back and say “wow, look how far I’ve come!” Instead of “oh, look how far I should be.”

I recently experienced a moment that made me completely reevaluate life.  After getting some routine labs done, I was told that my health was in a dire condition and I needed to seek treatment IMMEDIATELY for what could be a terminal illness.  After a few days of panic, reassessing my life, ensuring my kids and husband would be taken care of, and redirecting to a new path, I discovered that my labs had been switched with another patient.  A VERY sick patient.  Those two days were hands down the most fearful I've ever been in my entire life.  BUT it also provided a moment of reset and appreciation for what I have in the here and now.

I recently started a new running program that gets me back to the basics of running.  Being an experienced runner, it was time that I slowed down, and brought myself back to the core technique and form of the sport.  A time to reset and reevaluate.  Thankfully, this program was what kept me sane for those two, debilitating days.  It gave me a release, an outlet for my fear and anxiety.

The point is, life is short. Instead of spending it saying “maybe tomorrow.” Why not start making things happen so you can spend life saying “look what I can DO!”
